Jorge Drexler Biography

Uruguayan singer/songwriter Jorge Drexler got involved in music while learning how to play piano at the age of five. Later, he attended guitar and composition classes. It was in 1989 when Drexler began songwriting, recording his first album, called La Luz Que Sabe Robar, in 1992 and Radar in 1994. A year later he moved to Spain, having the opportunity to perform live along with Joaquín Sabina, Pablo Milanés, and Víctor Manuel, among others. After signing up to Virgin Records, Vaiven was produced by Gonzalo Lasheras, followed by Llueve in 1998. Upon receipt of the information included in the Consultation & Artist Info Package, Buyer agrees that ERG has fulfilled its obligations under this agreement and releases ERG from any and all liability to the maximum extent allowed by law, and will indemnify and hold harmless ERG, its directors, officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims arising from this agreement and subsequent event including but not limited to all third party claims, losses, damages, suits, fees, judgments, costs and expenses (collectively referred to as 'Claims'), including attorneys' fees incurred in responding to such Claims, that the parties may suffer or incur arising out of or in connection with (a) a party’s negligence, willful misconduct, or breach of any representation, warranty, or other obligation under this Agreement, or (b) any personal injury (including death) or damage to property resulting from a party or its agents' acts or omissions and standard force majeure. The parties will give prompt notice of any Claim to the other party, and the parties will defend the opposing party at their request. This Agreement will be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of NEVADA.
