Liam Sullivan Biography
Liam Sullivan is the comic actor behind A Liam Show, a collection of funny short films, monologues, music videos and songs that has been compared to Chappelle’s Show, Da Ali G Show and Little Britain. Liam writes, produces, directs, edits and stars in all of his own short films, and has taken A Liam Show to the ACME Comedy Theater, the M Bar, and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles. In 2007 he began taking A Liam Show on the road to several colleges across the country.
One of Liam’s most popular videos is the “Shoes” music video by Kelly, which has gone viral on MySpace and YouTube, spawning numerous fan remakes and turning Kelly into an internet rock star sensation. In 2006, YouTube staffers chose Liam’s “Shoes” as one of the top 10 videos of the year and Entertainment Weekly listed it as one of the viral videos to watch. One of the re-postings of “Shoes” video has received over 10 million views on YouTube alone, and is the third most viewed music video of all time on the site. Clips of the song have been played by Ryan Seacrest on “On-Air with Ryan Seacrest” on KIIS FM and by Jillian Barberie on the “Good Day LA” morning show, and the song has been in the top 10 of iTunes Comedy since it debuted there
