Fonseca Biography

FONSECA’s EMI Latin US debut “Corazon” is amongst the most impressive releases in recent Latin music, instantly garnering three Latin Grammy nominations, four Latin Billboard Nominations, two MTV Latin America Music Awards nominations and four Premio Lo Nuestro nominations (at which he also performed). From these nominations, FONSECA took home a Latin Grammy for Best Tropical Song of the Year, a Latin Billboard Award for Tropical Album of the Year, a MTV Music Award for Best New Central Artist and a Premio Lo Nuestro for Best New Artist. In 2008, FONSECA was nominated for two Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, for “Tropical Male Artist of the Year” and “Tropical Traditional Artist of the Year.” Most recently, he released his highly anticipated album Gratitud and the hit single Enrédame which is already climbing the charts.

By staying true to his native Colombian rhythms and fusing pop/rock, FONSECA manages to straddle and dominate both the Pop and Tropical charts, uniquely positioning him as both a Pop and Tropical star. FONSECA’s album and mega hit “Te Mando Flores” reached top 10 spots on the Latin Album, Pop, Tropical and Hot Latin Tracks charts. Over a year past its release, “Te Mando Flores” is still on significant rotation at radio stations. His follow-up hit single “Hace Tiempo” also slated both the Latin Pop and Tropical Airplay charts. Upon receipt of the information included in the Consultation & Artist Info Package, Buyer agrees that ERG has fulfilled its obligations under this agreement and releases ERG from any and all liability to the maximum extent allowed by law, and will indemnify and hold harmless ERG, its directors, officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims arising from this agreement and subsequent event including but not limited to all third party claims, losses, damages, suits, fees, judgments, costs and expenses (collectively referred to as 'Claims'), including attorneys' fees incurred in responding to such Claims, that the parties may suffer or incur arising out of or in connection with (a) a party’s negligence, willful misconduct, or breach of any representation, warranty, or other obligation under this Agreement, or (b) any personal injury (including death) or damage to property resulting from a party or its agents' acts or omissions and standard force majeure. The parties will give prompt notice of any Claim to the other party, and the parties will defend the opposing party at their request. This Agreement will be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of NEVADA.
